We Celebrate!

Today, we celebrate.

We celebrate finishing this year by taking one last picture in front of the Christmas tree the night before New Year's Eve, on our way out the door to a Thanksgiving service at our local church.  (Really.)

We celebrate making it through another 365 days, with God's protection and provision for our family.  The ups, the downs--you know the drill.

We celebrate having friends--old and new friends in the US, Paraguay, and around the world.

We celebrate Ken's win as 2012 Beard of the Year, which helped raise funds for rehabilitating victims of sex trafficking, thanks to Stephen Haggerty over at The Bearded Idealist.

We celebrate all the unknown things that God did this past year--all the things He kept us from, all the things He arranged behind the scenes that we weren't even aware of--working all things out for our good.

And later tonight, we will celebrate Clemson's trip to the Chick-Fil-A Bowl with our good friends, who happen to be the biggest LSU fans we know.

We thank you for helping make 2012 in Paraguay a reality for our family.  Again, we love our life and we love that you're a part of it!!  Please keep our mission work and our family in your prayers, and may God bless you as you finish out this year and prepare for the next.

**For the record--I was NOT in my pajamas, but in my royal robe.  When the queen confers an honor, she must ALWAYS show up in her robe.  Just so you know.
