Down to the Wire
We're on the big countdown! In less than a week, we'll land in Atlanta, Georgia, and drive to the upstate of South Carolina, where we'll spend a few days with my husband's parents and catch our breath. That weekend, we'll head to Macedonia to stay with my side of the fam, where we'll speak at our first church and meet up with my brother and his family and my dad, all coming to visit from Minnesota.
In a couple of days, we'll leave Encarnación and head to the capital to pick up the girls' passports. They came in yesterday--talk about skin of our teeth!! The paperwork we needed for our truck also arrived a few days ago, and we've spent this week getting everything in order to make the trek to home turf.
It's an exciting time, imagining reunions with the friends and family we haven't seen over the past year, as well as sharing about our ministry and what the Lord is doing in churches and homes around the state.
We would appreciate your prayers for traveling safety, financial provision to maintain our home here in Paraguay while traveling in the U.S., and wisdom about how best to steward our time there. Hope to run into you on the other side of the equator soon!
how long will you be gone? how long since you've been back? will your girls keep homeschooling? praying....
ReplyDelete2 months. 3years. And much to their dismay, yes. :) but we will do much less school than normal. Thanks for the prayers!
DeleteWe'll be praying for safe and uneventful travels! I really don't need to say, "Have fun!" because I know you will. Take care and God bless you as you visit with your families and friends. We're going in one month! Right now we're talking about where we want to eat! :) Blessings!
ReplyDeletePlaces to eat is at the top of our conversation list, too! Priorities--haha!
